I was humbled by meeting Jackie and would like to share a small part of me. Here is a picture of me ringing the bell at the end of my year long cancer treatment four weeks ago. My mom served in the WW2 pilot core, was a force in my life and was always looking up. It was a legacy I have tried to carry on. I have an amazing husband of 42 yrs (likes old cars, woodworking, old houses, etc.) and two fabulous grown daughters, one a captain on a research vessel and one a sound engineer on Broadway. I was a teacher for over 30 years, taught on the historic ships, was cook for three seasons and have traveled the world. Never feel like there is an end to the adventures in life. This group has helped my recovery and faith in what women can do together.
